Check out the unveiling of the S340 at Surge Conference 2016 First Impressions: We had an opportunity to have a look at the Ather S340 in flesh and we are totally impressed with the design and looks of the scooter. It definitely looks premium and an eye turner. The alloy wheel, the tail lamp, the indicators looks awesome. The dashboard looks cool and as per the company the dashboard is water proof and can be operated even with glouse on. The OS which it runs in Linus and the navigation is based on google maps. The smart device would be connected 24/7 via the GSM SIM card and the data would be constantly in sync with the cloud. By chance, when an user goes out to black out area where network is not found, the device has the capability to store the data on the local storage and would be synced when it comes inside the network coverage area. Unfortunately, we couldn’t play around much with the dashboard or the scooter itself due to the huge demand from all media houses, we would definitely visit Ather’s office sometime in near future and try to get in-depth review and analysis of the Ather S340 scooter. By the way, if you have a question on what S340 means ? The ‘S’ Stands for Scooter, 3 is a 3 kW motor and 40 stands for 40 Amp-hour battery pack.
