Our experience at LTE Zone:

The LTE experience zone was set in one of the famous and big Mall Phoenix Market City in Bangalore at Lower ground floor. The staff and product experts were well knowledgeable and could explain the features in details and could demo the amazing 4G network on LG G2 LTE smartphone. I was given the phone to play around for while and I must say I was very impressed with the speed and the performance of LG G2 device without any lag or slowness. Backed with 4G network, the browsing of internet and watching HD Videos right from Web/Youtube was blazingly fast. I was able to consistently get around 19 MB / second download speed and around 6-8 MB upload speed. Considering the fact that the zone was setup up in Lower Ground Floor of the mall, the speed which it offered was Amazing. I Could watch the full HD videos with 1080p at amazing buffering speed, check out the pictures below. The icing on the top at this LTE zone was that we could mirror the phone onto a LG's Curved OLED TV wirelessly using LG's own Miracast. I could download a 1.32 GB sized Asphalt Airborne 8 game in flat 12 minutes using Airtel 4G on LG G2 which is pretty amazing. I still remember that day when I had put the download for 1 whole night (8-9 hours) to download and install this full game on my smartphone at my home network (BSNL with 2 MB download speed). Check out the pictures below. Once I installed the game, it played just fine without any slowness or lag. Multimedia experience at its best. Overall the experience with the LG G2 Smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor was excellent. I wish the hope the price of the phone will be reduced in near future. Considering India's smartphone market, we honestly think the price is bit high for even an upper middle class person. Also, Airtel 4G speed and all is fine and amazing, but considering Indian consumers worry too much about the bandwidth and costs associated with it, there are chances that they burn a hole in their pocket if they don't properly monitor their bandwidth and connection. The pricing of 4G is not cheap and once a consumer crosses the FUP (Fair Usage Policy) of unlimited connection, the internet speed will come down to 128 Kbps which is kind of takes us back to decade old situation. We honestly think Airtel comes up with some sort of improvements about the speed post FUP. At least a 2 MB speed is must. Imagine getting down to 128 KBps from 20 MB / sec download speed and having an excellent smartphone like LG G2 which forced to browse at low speeds. What do you think ? Leave us your thoughts in comments section.

Check out the pictures taken the the LTE Zone. Do observe the speed of downloads/uploads, buffering speeds etc., in the pictures.  We have shot some videos too at the experience zone, we will edit them and upload very soon. Keep an eye on this space or on our youtube channel techrebels .
