Evidently, Nokia Lumia 800 is one of the best smartphone released by Nokia in recent years which attracts the consumers at the very first look at it. Design is sleek and attractive which immediately gains attention from youngsters. The display is crisp and clear even in broad day light and while you are checking out the phone in a bright day under the sun.  Powered by 1.4 GHz processor the performance of Nokia Lumia 800 is flawless backed by Microsoft Windows Operating System. Windows Live Tiles is one of the best which any smartphone manufacturers haven’t come up with all these days. They give rich look to the device and accessing your favourite applications, games, social network icons with just one click couldn’t be any more easier than that. Once can pin almost any application on the windows phone to their front screen as a tile for quick access.  There is no hardware home button like in Android or iPhone on Windows phones except three capacitive touch buttons for home, back and a bing search button. Clicking picture and sharing to your social network is really easy on Lumia 800 with just one click and you can tag any of your friends in your social network while sharing the pictures. Also, one more thing which we liked is the on-screen keypad for inputting the characters, its qwerty keypad with sufficiently spaces between each letters which gives less scope for errors while typing and compromised with dictionary suggestions, typing big emails and posts using Lumia 800 is error free and this device can be one of the best replacement of blackberry for enterprise users too. Professional experience plus some entertainment is always welcome to keep employees happy. Unlike other smartphones, we no need to use our both hands to type using Lumia 800, this device is handy enough to type or operate using just one hand of yours.

Internet browsing on Lumia 800 is good, but we feel Nokia could have utilized some more display space which we think around 10 mm display size has been wasted on top of the screen and below the capacitive touch buttons.

With 8 MP Camera, we can click decent pictures and share with our networks and shoot some decent videos too for keeping the memories alive.

The colors which are chosen for Nokia themes are amazing which includes Magenta, purple, teal, lime, brown, pink, mango, blue, red, green which is definitely an added attraction for the youngsters.

Lumia 800 comes with proprietary Nokia software's like Nokia Drive, Nokia Maps, Nokia Music etc., Nokia Drive is one of the best navigation software which guides one to any places they want to go.

Associated with windows, you can download and play most of the games available on Microsoft XBOX live, also there are whole lot of free and paid applications available for download on Windows market place. Though the number of applications are not comparative to the applications on Android play store or Apple store, but still there are some worthy applications available for these windows phones. Microsoft is adding up many applications to its Market place every day.

We are unhappy with the performance and synchronization method where we have to use Zune application. Zune application is very heavy and hogs up the system memory / CPU usage hits 100% and doesn’t allow to perform anything else while we are trying to synchronize or download the OS updates to Nokia Lumia 800 and update it. We hope Microsoft comes up with a fix or make the application light so that it won’t hinder the performance of the PC or Laptop and avoid frustrations for the users.

Overall we are pretty much impressed with the Windows phone powered by Nokia and Windows phones are here to stay in tough competition with Androids and IOS phones.
